We are so glad you visited our church website. Dexter United Methodist Church is a growing and active Christian congregation in the bootheel of Southeast Missouri which is:

Christ-centered: focused on the life, words, way and Spirit of Jesus Christ;
Biblically-rooted: encouraging spiritually-alive, faithful study of the Bible, using tools of devotion and scholarship.
Warm-hearted: a joyful, loving, vibrant congregation which experiences the grace of God in Jesus Christ in personal and positive ways;
Spirit-led: committed to following the guidance and living in the power of the Holy Spirit that unites us in Christian love and empowers us for service;
Open-minded: a place where people are free to search, think, question, and honestly express their growing experience of the faith;

You will find that we offer quality children and youth programming, have an excellent music ministry, and provide exciting opportunities for worship, study, fellowship, and service.
